Home Centre store opens in Al Qasr Mall

In continuation of its aggressive expansion plans, Home Centre, a major market retailer in furniture and home furnishing, has now unveiled its 24th store in Saudi Arabia at the newly opened Al Qasr Mall in Riyadh. This new store in South Riyadh’s Al Assuwady Al Aam area was opened last week by Ravi Krishnan, COO, Al Bandar Trading, Central Region, Saudi Arabia.
This is the fifth Home Centre store in Riyadh city and showcases the brand’s contemporary identity and brings to customers a preferred shopping experience. The new 58,725 square feet store is situated on the second level of the Al Qasr Mall, which brings to Riyadh an international shopping experience and the first-of-its-kind Snow Village.
In welcoming the community of Al Assuwady Al Aam area and residents of Riyadh to the newly opened store, Home Centre offered an inaugural discount of 20 percent on everything in store until yesterday.
The new Home Centre store represents the brand’s strategic and rapid expansion plan in Saudi Arabia. The new store closely followed the opening of other flagship stores taking the total store count in the Kingdom to 24.

Ravi Krishnan giving a brief on Al Bandar Trading’s ambitious plan to achieve 51 percent Saudization by next year, said a state-of-the-art retail academy would be opened here by April-end to train Saudi boys and girls.
