Four titles up for grabs as 33rd FBA ends today

Four championship games headlined by the Arjed-Samco-Juffali winner-take-all for the Inter-Commercial Open Rated Division make up the mouth-watering schedule that brings the four months long 33rd FBA basketball tournament to a fitting end today at the Sheraton Jeddah Hotel court.
The awarding ceremony follows the championship matches from 4 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Invited to grace the big event are officials of the Philippine Consulate General in Jeddah, distinguished community leaders, representatives of sponsoring companies and performers to entertain the crowd.
After Samco-Juffali leveled the best-of-three series two weeks ago the boys of coach Elmer Goze and team manager Glen Berdin are expected to give it their best shot in today’s decisive match against the Arjed Catering of head coach Francis Magat, assistant coach Gary Santos and team manager Roger Cabacang.
To contest the Inter-Commercial Open Non-rated Division are Unidecor of Melih Aytekin managed by Freddie Juance and coach Macnan Ramos and Noli De Guzman and Maharlikans Aida’s Cuisine of coach Baloloy Rojo and team manager Omar Llames.
In the Inter-Company Bona fide Division it will be the Nesma Holding Company Ltd. of team manager Mazen Munshi, coach Ricky Pangan and assistant Alan Pangan against Saudi Oger Company Ltd. of team manager Yaroub Mikati and coach Greg Cabigon.
Battling for the Inter-Hotel Division championship are Park Hyatt Jeddah Hotel of coach Warren Warlaw and team manager Mohamed El-Bardai against Movenpick Resort AlNawras of coach Santos and team manager Edward Pelayo.
The first game at 4 p.m. pits Brightstar Com. (BSC) and Al-Hamrani Company (RBF) in a knockout for third and fourth in the Bona fide division.
