King orders closure of Tamour real estate firm

Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has ordered the liquidation of Tamour Al-Mamlaka shareholding company, Sabq.org reported yesterday quoting Commerce and Industry Minister Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah.
“The real estate committee has received the king’s instruction to close down Tamour Al-Mamlaka,” the minister said, expressing his hope that it would lead to the shareholders receiving their rights.
Tamour Al-Mamlaka is one of the largest real estate share businesses in the Kingdom as it collected SR 1.6 billion from the public. It has been running a number of real estate, commercial and agricultural projects.
