King appoints new Capital Market Authority head

JEDDAH: Mohammed bin Abdulmalik Al-Sheikh was yesterday appointed the chairman of the Capital Market Authority (CMA) with the rank of minister under a royal order issued by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah.
“I am humbled and honored with this appointment and I would like to thank King Abdullah for this. With the grace of Almighty, I will work the best possible way to serve the Kingdom,” the new chairman told Arab News last night.
Al-Sheikh succeeds Abdulrahman Al-Tuwaijri, who headed the CMA since 2006.
