A senior official at the Ministry of Justice announced that two new courts will be opened in Riyadh and Jeddah. The number of judges will increase more than double.
The Ministry has completed preparations of a separate building, which follows the Administrative Public Court in its qualitative jurisdiction. The ministry equipped nine offices for the judicial terminations of more than 60 cases of the court.
He said that the ministry is currently working to prepare a separate building for the Enforcement Court, pointing out that it will reduce the workload made by the courts by 30 percent.
The Ministry is also equipping 30 judicial offices with assistance to the General Court in Riyadh as part of its plan to accelerate the termination of cases and reduce the time period between sessions following the approval of the Supreme Judicial Council according to the competence of each body.
A source said that the judicial inspection will oversee the implementation of this plan, pointing out that this strategy came as part of the process of developing mechanisms of procedural action by several committees under the supervision of a number of judges.
