New CEO for SEDCO Holding Group

SEDCO Holding Group (Saudi Economic and Development Company) has announced the appointment of Anees Ahmed Moumina as its chief executive officer.
He succeeds Adnan Abdulfattah Soufi whose term of office, which has lasted three years, expired at the end of 2012.
Adnan Abdulfattah Soufi said: “It has been an honor to serve as CEO of SEDCO Holding Group, during which time it has been my privilege to enjoy the support of the board of directors along with the outstanding cooperation of a great team of colleagues and SEDCO employees, all of whom I thank deeply for their loyalty and team spirit. “
He added: “I wish Anees Moumina every success as he takes up his new role and I am confident that with his extensive experience of more than 25 years in the banking and private sectors he is truly the right man in the right place.”
Anees Moumina said: “Adnan Soufi has done a wonderful job during his career at SEDCO Holding Group, especially over the past three years during which his mission was centered on the success of changing the management process in order to expand the group’s business activities under the umbrella of SEDCO Holding Group.”
He added: “In taking up my new position, I thank the board of directors of SEDCO Holding Group for the confidence they have placed in me and I look forward to fulfill their expectations and contribute to the further success of the company.”
