Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA) scored a convincing seven-wicket win over Jeddah Cricket Association (JCA) to bag third place in the Saudi Cricket Center National T20 Championships held in Yanbu.
RCA reached their target off 12.3 overs. The Riyadh side has to thank their openers Nadeem Babar (57) and Abdul Wahid (43) who put on 90 runs between them. Atif got 2 wickets for JCA. Batting first, JCA managed only 125 for 9 from their stipulated 20 overs. Two of their batsmen were run out.
Nadeem Babar took three wickets while Kamran Hadi, Muzaffar Majeed, Abdul Wahid and Zeeshan Haider got a wicket each.

RCA had thus repeated their win 77-run win over JCA in the Super Six encounter played earlier.
Brief scores: RCA: 241 for 7 off 18 over (Abdul Wahid 91, Nadeem Babar 52, Wahab Khan 52; Qudous 2 wkts) beat JCA: 164 for 7 off 18 overs (Irfan 52 runs; Abdul Salam 3 wkts, Waleed Sheikh 2 wks) by 77 runs.
In their second super six encounter, RCA beat MCL by 4 wickets. RCA’s Abdul Qadir was the man of the match.
In the semifinals played at the Western Province Cricket Association grounds, Yanbu Al-Sanaiya got better of RCA by 3 wickets in a closely fought encounter.
Batting first, RCA managed 162 for 7 off 20 overs. RCA lost quick wickets early on, but Omar Zafar and Kamran Hadi and stabilized the innings by scoring 42 and 73 runs respectively. Abdul Qadir later scored 16 runs. Nadeem Saad took 3 wickets. Chasing the target of 163, YACA also started disastrously as they too lost early wickets. But a great knock by Afzal, who scored an unbeaten 68, helped his team to achieve their target off 19.2 overs. Waqas and Kamran Hadi got 2 wickets each for RCA. Nadeem Babar and Abdul Salam also chipped in with 1 wicket each.

Shahid Afridi was the chief guest. Iqbal Sikander, member of the winning Pakistan team of World Cup 1992, was the guest of honor.
