A forum on Gulf business media will kick off on Feb. 13 at the premises of the Eastern Province Chamber of Commerce and Industry (EPCCI) in Dammam.
The EPCCI will organize the forum in collaboration with the Union of GCC Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UGCCCI) and Al-Yaum Press, Printing and Publishing House.
The forum will discuss the ability of Gulf media to cope with global economic developments, how to promote confidence between development initiators and media organizations, and the conflict between the new and print media. It will also highlight the importance of business media in GCC countries, its constructive role in the development of the GCC economies and its reflection of the efforts of public and private sectors in serving sustainable development in the GCC countries.
The Minister of Culture and Information Abdulaziz Khojah will attend part of the discussions. He will also honor a number of Gulf media people for their role in serving media in the GCC countries.
