The Batterjee Medical College has signed an agreement with Ektefaa Welfare Organization and AlBir Society in Jeddah to treat all employees of these organizations at the college’s dental clinics.
The agreements include providing consultancy services and free treatment to the employees of these two organizations and their families.
The moves are part of the college’s efforts to contribute to community service.
“These agreements arise from our belief in the necessity of the interaction between the society and these organizations,” said Dr. Khalid Batterjee, vice-chairman of the board of trustees of Batterjee medical College.
Sobhi Batterjee, board of trustees chairman at Saudi German Hospitals Group, said: “The private sector’s social responsibility is a national and religious requirement in order to contribute to the generous effort and support provided by the Ministry of Higher Education in order to develop education and community service.”
The dentistry program at Batterjee Medical College launched the dental clinics at the beginning of this year.
The unit includes more than forty clinics that are run by a group of consultant and dentists and equipped with the latest dental devices.
