AMPS (Association of Malayalee Professionals in Saudi Arabia), a premier Indian organization of professionals, is all set to stage its flagship Brain Hunt World Quiz event on Feb.1 at a beach camp in Jubail.
Around 180 teams each comprising of three members of grade 8 to 12 from all Indian schools in Saudi Arabia will compete in the event.
“AMPS has been staging this edifying event since 2004 and our high-caliber quiz program is the most sought-after mind game by school students in Saudi Arabia,” said V.C. Nair, president of AMPS. The World Quiz is open to all Indian school students in Saudi Arabia.
The preliminary elimination round to qualify the best performing eight teams will be held at 11 a.m. The grand finale will be at 3 p.m.
AMPS quiz is reputed for its high-tech presentation style using combination of variety of formats including video, audio, rapid fire and the exciting buzzer rounds .
PGR Nair, a distinguished Toastmasters in Jubail, has been the main anchor of this event since its inception. Principals of major schools in Saudi Arabia have been invited to attend the event.
Questions for the quiz will be entirely based on world history, culture, geography, science, astronomy, art/paintings, films, music, sports, politics, current events, business, consumer brands/advertising and literature.
