Pak Shaheen, Amir Holidays, CKK, Hyderabadi Warriors, Riyadh Panthers and Pak Force have qualified for the finals of the Banque Saudi Al Fransi T20 Cricket Tournament organized by Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA).
In Super League, Pak Shaheen beat Lahore Lions comfortably by 5 wickets thanks to great all round performance by Abdul Salam.
Batting first Lahore Lions was restricted to 180 off 20 overs. Abdul Salam bowled with great control and guile and took 4 wickets. Ateeq supported him well and got 3 wickets.
Pak Shaheen achieved their target off 16 overs. Abdul Wahid scored brisk 60. Abdul Salam also contributed with the bat and scored 57. Abdul Qadir made 30.
Amir Holidays defeated Lahore Badshah by 3 runs. Lahore Badshah won the toss and invited Amir Holidays to bat first. Amir Holidays scored 213 off 20 overs. Irfan Mushtaq looked in great touch and scored 124. He was ably supported by Imran 45 and Sami Arshad 23.
In reply Lahore Badshah managed to score 210. Yassir Maqbool played a great knock of 104, but could not save his team from defeat. Asif also played well and scored 31. Abdulrahman took 2 wickets while Nadeem, Kamran and Arsalan got one each.
In Premier League 1, CKK beat Riyadh Warriors by 6 wickets.
Batting first Riyadh Warriors were all out for 140. Hassan was the top scorer with 41 runs followed by Ayaz 31 and Asif 22. Nouman, Imran and Nabeel got 2 wickets each for CKK.
CKK achieved the target in 16 overs. Najeeb scored 60, Imran 27 and Zeeshan 24. Majid, Toufeeq, Ayaz and Sameer took a wicket each.
In the second semifinal of the Premier League 1, Hyderabadi Warriors beat Stallions.
In Premier League 2, Riyadh Panthers beat Imran XI by 3 wickets. Imran XI batted first and scored 148. Zulfiqar, Waqar and Hamid bagged 3 wickets each. Riyadh Panthers achieved the target in 16.1 overs. Waqar, Tauseef and Sajid scored 25 runs each.
In the second semifinal, Pak Force beat Green Bangla by 4 wickets.
After wining the toss, Green Bangla decided to bat first and scored 157for 9 off 20 overs. Jakir was the main run getter with 77 runs. Pak Force lost six wickets in pursuit of their target. Alamin got 3 wickets, Aminul 2 and Jakir 1.
In Saudi Orix Tournament, Al Kharj Zone, Shouraim beat Ayoun Al Badr by 1 wicket. Batting first Ayoun Al Badr was all out for 206 in 33.5 overs. Imran and Afzal held the innings together by scoring 63 and 48 respectively.
Azizullah also spent some time on the wicket and scored 25 runs. Faisal took 3 wickets while Arif and Waseem got 2 each.
Shouraim achieved the target in 37.2 overs. Zeeshan scored 72, Arif 48 and Mubashir 21. Azizullah and Ali Shahid took 3 wickets each.
In Huraymala Zone, Thales beat KFSH Knight Riders by 77 runs. Batting first Thales scored 200 off 20 overs. Fahad made 72, Zaiduddin 47 and Khursheed 38. Talal and Yasir got 2 wickets each. Chasing the target, KFSH Knight Riders was all out for 123. Imran and Bilal were the notable scorers with 33 and 29 runs respectively. Saad took 5 wickets while Atif, Amjad and Ahtisham got 1 each.
KFSH Green beat RAC in another Huraymala Zone match.
In Riyadh Zone, TBCC beat Friends XI by 9 runs. Batting first TBCC scored 146 in their stipulated 16 overs. Fawaz and Aneesh made 35 each while Riyaz scored 24. Friends XI could manage 137 in reply. Cherian got 2 wickets and Riyaz picked 1.
Sulaiman XI beat Serendib by 2 wickets. Serendib batted first and scored 173 off 19 overs. Ejaz, Naveed and Nouman got a wicket each. Sulaiman XI got the target in 16.5 overs thanks to a brilliant innings by young 14-year-old Sulaiman Ejaz Sulaiman who scored 50 off 21 balls. Naveed also made a useful contribution of 40.
In another match, Riyadh Fighters beat AB Contracting by 8 runs. Batting first Riyadh Fighters scored 169 in 18 overs. Nusrat played well and scored 63, Hameed made 29, Taqi 26 and Imran Butt 21. Wasim and Ahsan got 3 wickets each while Ismail grabbed 2. AB Contracting scored 161 in reply. Waqas made 44, Ahsan 36 and Wasim 22. Taqi got 4 wickets and Yassir 2.
Elsewhere Lahore Badshah Green beat TCS Riyadh by 16 runs. Lahore Badshah Green scored 185 in 16 overs. Sevu and Faisal got 2 wickets each.
In reply, TCS Riyadh was restricted to 169. Bhuwan played well and scored 50, Prashant scored 28 and Amit 21.
Finals will be played today.
