A two-day Educational Exhibition (EDEX) organized by International Indian School, Jeddah (IISJ) was a feast for the curious visitors’ eyes.
With a view to encourage, popularize and inculcate scientific temperament among the Indian school children’s in Jeddah, IISJ organizes this event (EDEX) every year where children showcase their talents in all major subject areas and their applications in different areas related with our everyday life.
Some students also prepared attractive models displaying the Saudi Arabian culture and traditions. After several weeks of hard work on the part of the organizers and the participants, the (EDEX) turned out to be an impressive, informative and a tremendous success.
The models and experiments on display in around 59 classes with over 500 students participating in the fair gave the students a solid platform to exhibit their creative thoughts in such a young age would eventually benefit the whole society at large. It’s a great platform for the students to show their creative work, the students select the project and give a quality time over the work and the nature of the technology behind it. It presented the science students with a great opportunity to showcase their talent and bring out either the “Innovator” or the “Inventor” in every young person. — Mir Gazanfar Ali Zaki, Jeddah
