Teams fight it out for knockout stage in BSF Cup

RIYADH: Twelve teams were fighting it out for the knock out stage in the BSF Twenty20 Cricket Tournament, organized by the Riyadh Cricket Association (RCA).
In the Super League matches played last week, Pak Shaheen routed Lahore Lions by 74 runs. Making first use of the pitch, Pak Shaheen piled up 256 off 20 overs, thanks to swashbuckling knocks by Abdul Qadir (64), Usman (55), Abdul Wahid (51) and Wahab Khan (46).
In reply, Lahore Lions bundled out for a meager 183. Abdul Wahab and Faisal took 3 wickets each and Abdul Salam got 2.
KFSH Blues thrashed FUCHS by 79 runs. Winning the toss and batting first, KFSH Blues scored 223-8 off 20 overs. Khurram Baig top-scored with 39 runs. Qaiser got 27 while Danish and Abdul Malik chipped in with 26 runs each.
FUCHS were bowled out for 144 off 14.4 overs. Owais and Aziz scored 43 and 38 runs respectively. Shakeel Hussein bowled brilliantly and took 5 wickets. Sohail Abbasi chipped in with 3 wickets.
Amir Holidays scored an easy 37-run win over BSF. Amir Holidays put up 185-6. Baber (56), Kamran (39), Samiullah (28) and Ahtisham (27) did their best. BSF crumbled for 148-8 off their stipulated overs. Zahid was the only notable contributor with 50 runs. Aslam and Arsalan got 3 wickets each.
In another match of Super League, Shouraim beat Lahore Badshah by 3 wickets. Batting first Lahore Badshah scored 175-9 off 20 overs. Adnan (38), Fahad (34) and Shahbaz (31) were the main scorers. Faisal and Mubashir got 3 wickets each.
Shouraim reached their target off 18.1 overs. Zeeshan (41), Zaigham (31) and Waqas (30) contributed.
In Premier League 1, Stallions routed Riyadh Warriors by 65 runs. Stallions scored 204-6 off 20 overs. Yassir (67) and Asif (63) were the main contributors. Hassan got 4 wickets. Riyadh Warriors were all out for 139. Abdulaziz, Abdul Ghafoor and Hassan were the only notable scorers with 44, 22 and 21 runs respectively. Adnan took 3 wickets while Shakoor, Amir and Sohail got 2 wickets each. In another match, batting first RAC managed 140 against Hyderabadi Warriors. Mudassir was their top scorer with 30. Zahid Mir got 23. Mubashir, Majid, Mannan and Shahnawaz shared 8 wickets.
Hyderabadi Warriors got to the target in 13.2 overs. Mohammed Bin Saleh looked in great touch and scored an unbeaten 59. Mubashir also played well and scored 46. Afzal got 2 wickets for RAC.
CKK routed KFSH Greens by 8 wickets. KFSH Greens scored 141 off their stipulated overs. CKK achieved the target off 13 overs.
Attieh Steels beat Riyadh Fighters in another Premier League 1 match.
In Premier League 2, Green Bangla beat Lahore Badshah Green by 6 wickets. Lahore Badshah Green put up 155 on board. Moosa took 4 wickets and Al Amin 2. Green Bangla raced to their target for the loss of 4 wickets with 33 balls spare. Kokan Khan (51), Mithun (37) and Amir (21) did their best.
Tigers got the better of Pak Force by 6 wickets in a nail-biting finish. Batting first Pak Force made a challenging 216 off 20 overs. Upol got 2 wickets.
Tigers achieved their target off 19.4 overs. Alvi (66), Alal (61), Jewel (25) and Upol (23) were the main run getters.
Combined XI eased past TBCC by 73 runs. Combined XI scored 227-2 off 20 overs. Mohammed Fiyaz (117) while Asmat Shahzad (61) and Taj Khan (32) gave him good support. Salam and Faisal got a wicket each.
TBCC were bowled out for 154. Faisal (51) and Mahboob (37) were their main scorers . Ahmed took 3 wickets, Saqib and Fiyaz got 2 wickets each.
Riyadh Panthers beat Kashmir Press by 7 wickets in the last match of the day. Batting first Kashmir Press scored 143. Hamid got 4 wickets and Raza 3.
Riyadh Panthers got to their target off 13.2 overs. Yassir made 52, Tauseef 36 and Waqar 28 respectively.
