FBA 33rd Season opening reset for Nov. 9

The FBA 33rd Season opening today has been put off and rescheduled for Nov. 9 at same venue, the Sheraton Jeddah Hotel Sports Complex court.
The twin decision was unanimously agreed during the FBA final meeting and clinic with all team coaches and managers last Tuesday at a local restaurant, according to FBA president Edgar Mendoza.
Mendoza confirmed 32 teams are seeing action in the tournament including four in the crowd-drawing Open Rated Division namely Shadow Lounge, Hal Consultants, Fuji Selection and Samco-Juffali Carrier.
The Inter-Company Bona fide and Inter-Hotel will each have 10 teams while eight signed up for the Inter-Commercial Open Non-Rated. These are: Inter-Company Bona fide — Bright Star Communication (BSC), Nesma Holdings, SAMPT-KAUST, Avengers, Bint Najd Lions, Gulf Taleed Com. Services Company, HUTA-Marine, Nesma and Partners, Tetra Pak, Unicoil (United Metal Coating Co. Ltd.), Al-Hamrani-Red Bricks; Inter-Hotel — Al Bilad Hotel, Hilton Jeddah Hotel, Inter-Continental Jeddah Hotel, Le Meridien Jeddah Hotel, Movenpick Jeddah Hotel, Movenpick-Al Nawras Suites, Park Hyatt Jeddah, Radisson Blu hotel, Rosewood Corniche Hotel and Sheraton Jeddah Hotel; Inter-Commercial Open Non-rated Division — Maharlikans Aida’s Cuisine, Al-Muhaidib-Roberts & Friends, AVK Co., Mize-Maya International, Nexus, Paninos, Unidecor and Abna Marantao.
