I read with much interest Khawaja Umer Farooq’s letter “Many Malalas in Pakistan (Oct. 17). I wonder shouldn’t the United Kingdom government also be commended for accepting Malala into its state-of-the-art Trauma Hospital, and for agreeing to treat Malala free of charge?
