Sheikh Maktoum visits STC pavilion at GITEX

Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, deputy ruler of Dubai, has visited Saudi Telecom Company’s (STC’s) pavilion in GITEX Dubai 2012, where he met STC Group CEO Khaled Al-Ghoneim and a number of senior executives in the group and subsidiaries.
Sheikh Maktoum toured STC’s pavilion and attended a brief on STC’s experience and role locally, regionally and internationally, and the various innovative technical solutions that the group offers as part of its comprehensive multi-play application services.
STC Group’s participation in the exhibition incorporates a number of the group’s subsidiaries, including STC, VIVA Kuwait, VIVA Bahrain, AWAL, and INTIGRAL.
It is anticipated that the group will sign several strategic partnership agreements with various regional and global players in the telecommunication and IT sector, in an effort to consolidate STC’s leadership in the region with respect to innovative services.
