ALJE offers Sharp’s interactive touch screen monitor

Abdul Latif Jameel Electronics (ALJE) is offering Sharp’s interactive touch screen monitor, the latest technology in conferencing equipment.
The new monitor, described as the perfect solution for a conference room/training room/classroom, replaces the overhead projector and white board as well as the need to have an external computer.
It’s an LED screen that functions as a full HD TV giving a much better resolution than the projector, with no shadows and no need to dim the lights in order to see the screen.
The presentations can be saved to be continued at a later time, or for future reference.
The unique Pen Software allows to take notes directly on the screens with the fingers or the stylus.
These notes can be communicated to all attendees since they can be printed, faxed, e-mailed directly from the screen.
It’s fully integrated to the network, allowing to browse the Internet as well as share files on the whole network including printers, copiers, scanners, etc.
“You never have to worry again about people not taking notes, or assigning a person to write down minutes. All details are communicated to everyone, through the Interactive Monitor. You can add notes to images, make changes to shop drawings, add points to power point presentations. You can add, erase, rotate, and enhance just about any visual media, including movie frames,” says Nirbhay Krishna Varshney, corporate sales supervisor, ALJE Corporate Sales
It allows to show 3D PDF files, and images can be rotated in 3D with the touch of the fingers, he said, adding that it comes in 3 sizes — 60,” 70” and 80” — and can be fixed to a wall, or to a mobile floor stand.
