The Prince Ahmed bin Salman Applied Media Academy will be the trainer/sponsor in the Saudi Colors Forum to be organized under the aegis of President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism & Antiquities Prince Sultan bin Salman at the Riyadh International Center for Exhibitions and Conferences on Nov. 25. 
The academy will organize two photography workshops on the sidelines of the forum. The workshops will offer 10 scholarship programs for studying photography, which will be conducted by the academy.
The forum is the first and largest photography event specializing in tourism marketing that has been conducted in the Kingdom.
With this forum, the SCTA intends to seek the promotion of domestic tourism and to highlight diversified tourism products available in the Kingdom. It also aims to encourage amateur and professional photographer’s skills and originality. Its focus will be on the aspects of heritage and tourism in the Kingdom.
A photography contest was organized as part of the forum and the 10 best submissions were selected from various categories such as nature, architectural heritage, aspects of Saudi life and national development. The organizers received 6,400 submissions from 1,300 photographers on themes related to tourism and antiquity. 
A total of SR 420,000 worth of prizes will be distributed among the top 10 winners. The first prize is SR 25,000, the second prize will fetch SR 20,000 and the third SR 15,000. The winners of the fourth and fifth positions in each department will receive SR 10,000. The 6thth to 10th position holders will receive prizes in kind.
The photographer and agency that best served the nation and domestic tourism will be awarded the Prince Sultan bin Salman Prize.
The academy was established after the late Prince Ahmed bin Salman, a leading media figure who established the Saudi Research and Marketing Group in 1987.
