Students of the Riyadh-based Pakistan International School, English Section (PISES) outperformed their peers across the country and surpassed the majority of schools on a global level by scoring very high marks in the Cambridge University Examination and Edexcel International.
Muhammad Tanveer, principal of Pakistan International School said, “Our students are academically very capable and can compete with students from any school or any country without apprehension. They topped the list again.”
He said PISES holds the reputation as one of the best educational institutions in the region for the last several years.
Tanveer said, “Our students have further strengthened our reputation by their outstanding performance. This was reflected in the Edexcel International and Cambridge University exam results announced yesterday.”
He said the school produced 100 percent results with 99 percent of students achieving grades from A* to C on the international scale, while 67 percent are A* and A grade achievers in Cambridge IGCSE.
Usama Bin Faisal and Wardah Khizar Usmani shared the top student position.
Statistics provided by Edexcel International show AS and A Level PISES students performed better in comparison to Edexcel students around the world. “The results are a clear reflection of the hard work and dedication of the teachers,” said Tanveer.
