In each government-run school in Dammam, Alkhobar, Jubail, Hofuf, Ras Tanura, Abqaiq, the students were welcomed with sweets to mark the just-concluded Eid Al-Fitr festivities, celebrating the end of Ramadan.
In primary schools, there were entertainment programs for the students. For those who were just beginning their schools, special activities were organized to make them feel comfortable.
“Every year, we receive new students and we make them go through an orientation program to familiarize them with our programs and academic activities,” said Ibrahim Al-Shehri, principal of Alkhobar High School. He urged parents to pay attention to their children’s studies and guide them as they take on new educational tasks.

Student Abdullah Al-Asmari said, “This is my final year at the school and I am ready.”
