The Consulate General of India in a notification informs all prospective visa/passport applicants that it is entering into a new passport/visa/consular services outsourcing contract with BLS International in partnership with Al Fifa for General Services from Aug. 15. Consequently, its existing partners, namely, Al Tayyar Group and VFS Global will stop entertaining service applications from Aug. 11 for Jeddah office and with immediate effect for outstation offices. It therefore advises that all prospective applicants may apply for passport/visa services with Al Tayyar Group and VFS Global well ahead of time in order to avoid any inconvenience.
They may, however, continue to apply for passport/visa services with Al-Fifa for General Services. In case of any difficulty, the consulate in Jeddah may be contacted.
Applicants are also asked to acquaint themselves with the changes by going through the relevant sections of the consulate's website.
