STC provides training to 800 students in summer program

In another social responsibility initiative by Saudi Telecom Company (STC), the company is currently hosting the 1433H summer employment program at its King Abdul Aziz Complex headquarters in Riyadh.
The program, which runs for 2 months, foresees the summer employment and training of 800 highschool and college/university students to rehabilitate them into the modern workplace.
The program is one of many of STC's social responsibility initiatives and further sheds light on the company's image as an exemplary leader in community service.
As part of the program, students have the opportunity to work in one of several fields, including managerial, technical, and sales departments, and they have the privilege of selecting whichever better suits their interest or field of study. Students work under the direct supervision of experienced and qualified Saudi managers. STC has also allocated a monetary award of SR 3,000 to each participating student.
STC has been increasingly diligent in serving the community and often targets Saudi youth.
The company commits to providing opportunities for youth, in addition to empowering them with knowledge and experience, and helping them develop, prepare, and integrate into the modern workplace.
It is worth mentioning that STC hosts similar beneficial programs all year long. An example of such programs is the Joint Training Program, during which the company receives large numbers of university students who undergo full training semesters and leave the program better prepared, experienced, and ready for a multitude of career possibilities.
