Ramadan comes alive at Movenpick beach resort

Movenpick recently invited members of prominent organizations in Alkhobar to a Ramadan-themed night at their popular, award-winning beach resort located along Alkhobar's Half Moon Bay.
Sanjeev Tandon, director of sales and marketing, and his colleagues took the visitors on a tour around the luxurious resort before leading them to the brightly-lit tent where they enjoyed a night of good conversation, popular shows and good old Arabic recipes.
Even the drinks had a Ramadan feel to them — inspired by Arabian herbs and refreshing ingredients fit for the heat-wave stricken area. "We are serving daily iftar and suhoor buffet at the Ramadan tent," said Tandon. "And this tent will also be the center of activities during the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr festivities."
Hassan Abdul Bari, head of the medical department at Ace Arabia Cooperative Insurance, expressed delight at being at the Movenpick Beach Resort's Ramadan tent and enjoyed the night with his circle of friends. Flushed with the excitement of summer they engaged in conversations that ranged from finance to stories of the Muslim empire during the Golden Age.
