Thieves target parked vehicles

During their regular patrol in an isolated industrial area in the east of Riyadh, police found a young man allegedly stealing tires from parked vehicles. When the police rounded up the alleged suspect, who was driving a jeep, they found he was looking for another car with salable tires that could be removed stealthily.
During the arrest, the police found stolen tires and necessary tools to remove the tires from parked vehicles. According to the police, the suspect admitted he had stolen the tires from parked vehicles.
Following the arrest, the police are currently conducting further investigations to find out if more people are involved in the theft. The suspect will be taken to court as soon as the investigations are completed, the police said.
In a separate incident, police arrested another man in his twenties who was stealing articles from parked vehicles. Patrolling the streets in the south of Riyadh, the police found a person who was hiding behind the cars until the police vehicle disappeared from the scene. During a subsequent round, the policeman found the suspect had broken glasses of a parked vehicle and had stolen a laptop from the car.
