Alliance emerges triumphant

Alliance clinched the champions' trophy of the Farookh Malik cricket tournament, organized under the banner of HCL.
Sixteen teams participated in the tournament with Alliance and Senior Alliance qualifying for the finals, which was held at Mahmoud Saeed Ground.
Alliance won comfortably by 50 runs. Alliance won the toss and elected to bat first and scored 156 runs in their allotted 15 overs. Rahil 44, Ather 27 and Rabbani 21 runs contributed to the Alliance's total.
Senior Alliance, chasing the target, lost wickets regularly and folded for 101 runs. Wahaj took 5 wickets and Irshad 3 wickets.
In the presentation ceremony trophies were awarded to Alliance and Senior Alliance. The Best Player of the tournament award went to Wahaj (Alliance); Best Batsman of the Tournament Afroze Baroom (Senior Alliance); Best Bowler of the Tournament Irshad (Alliance) and Man of the match for the final Wahaj (Alliance).
The awards were given by Talah Qulani from BMW, Imran from Al Abeer Medical Group, Syed Asghar from Pepsi. The awards ceremony was attended by other participating team captains and cricket fans.
The Farookh Malik tournament was organized by Pepsian Team & Friends comprising Kamran, Bawazeer, Ayaz, Qadeer, Meer and Ahmed. The winners and runners-up trophies were sponsored by Al Abeer Medical Center and drinks provided by Pepsi.
