Crown Prince and Haia officials discuss key issues

Crown Prince Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, yesterday received Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Asheikh, president of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice (Haia).
The Haia chief congratulated Prince Salman on his appointment as crown prince and briefed him on his organization’s activities.
The crown prince commended Haia’s activities in the service of the society.
Al-Ashiekh, meanwhile, said his organization would implement new measures to regulate officials chasing individuals, even if they are wanted for offenses.
He said the decision was taken because of the negative effects of such pursuits.
He said the ban on chasing was already in place and the organization’s branch managers have been informed of it.
