BIZZ 2012 awards set in September

One of the world’s most important business awards, The BIZZ 2012, will be handed out on Sept. 16 at a gala ceremony in Doha’s Sharq Village Hotel & Spa in Doha.
The ceremony is the latest in a series held since 2005, in cities such as New York, Panama City, Rome, Houston, Dubai, Mexico City, Dakar, Mumbai, Punta Cana, Frankfurt, Lima, and others.
The BIZZ distinguishes and acknowledges business excellence in companies from around the world.
Companies with an outstanding track record in managerial leadership, management systems, quality in goods and services, creativity and innovation, CSR, and certifications and recognitions are invited to apply for this international award.
In previous years, this award has been given out to companies such as Mohammed Abdulaziz Al-Rajhi & Son Holding Co., Saudi Telecom Company, National Paints Factories Co. WLL, Kuwait Resources House, Fast Telecommunications Co. WLL, Abdul Samad Al Qurashi, Emirates National Oil Company Ltd. (ENOC) LLC, Rakisa Holding Mawarid Finance, Al-Sulaimi Group Holding, Bahwan IT LLC, Bindawood Group of Companies and Zed Communications.
The company behind the ceremony, World Confederation of Businesses (WORLDCOB), is an organization comprising over 3,000 companies representing 70 countries.
WORLDCOB’s goal is to motivate and stimulate companies with The BIZZ, promote business networking among its members and other interested companies from these 70 different companies, as well as creating a socially responsible business culture. This CSR culture is fostered through its WORLDCOB-CSR:2011.1 standard.
