Hidada hits perfect 56 in FTBJ-ICBL event

Hidada Contracting Ltd. achieved what Nasser Al Hajri narrowly missed, scoring perfect 56 points at the end of eliminations on the 18th week that set the four outright qualifiers for the finals in the FTBJ-ICBL 29th Conference bowling tournament at the Jeddah Lanes in Mossadia Plaza here.
Hidada’s 56 supplanted the previous high of 55 that Al Hajri set on the 9th week and gave Hidada its second Team of the Week award in the five-man team league event.
Also, Hidada strengthened its position at second for the stepladder finals with Safawa Tech-Build, after scoring 17 points on the day, the runaway No. 1 and the team with a twice-to-beat edge. The third and fourth berths went to Kulisap ni Moe and Al Hajri, which tallied 42 and 40 in the positioning round.
The 10 teams to miss the cut for the four outright finalists play three games with the top three to knock each other out in a further three games to decide the opponent of Hajri in the first match of the stepladder.
Al Bahjah Optical finished a distant second to Hidada on 46 points. Sky Freight-TFC compiled 37 followed by Saudi Diyar Consultants 35.5, Sadia 33 and Muchkilla 33.

Rene Martinez added 192-210 and Johndy Cantara 185 for Hidada which swept the first-place points of 14 in all three games and overall output.
