The Saafah Foundation for Good Example has praised the appointment of two of its board members in high-ranking positions at prestigious organizations.
Abdullatif Al-Othman was appointed governor of Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) and Abdul Aziz Al-Sugair president of Saudi Telecom Company (STC).
The foundation, which works for promoting transparency and honesty in the Kingdom, commended the expertise and performance of Al-Othman and Al-Sugair in various fields.
Both of them have worked in engineering, economic and industrial fields for a long period.
Prince Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdul Rahman, chairman of the foundation's board of directors, said the appointment of Al-Othman and Al-Sugair would have a good impact on their respective organizations.
"In the light of my personal association with the two as active members of Saafah, I am confident that they will work for improving transparency and honesty in SAGIA and STC to the satisfaction of those who deal with the two organizations," Prince Turki said.
He said Al-Othman and Al-Sugair worked to deepen the values and principles of justice, frankness and accountability at the organizations they had worked for before.
