Maria Christy Joshy won the first position, Juveria Asif was judged second, Saherish Farhan fourth and Reva Gupta the 12th position in the Aptitude Test.
In the Macmillan tests as well, students of the DPS Jeddah proved their mettle by bagging the highest positions. Around 182,248 students of classes 3 to 12 from 2044 schools throughout Asia have taken the tests. Out of them only 203 students are awarded EAA-UNSW-Macmillan Medals for scoring the highest marks in their countries in IAS. It is remarkable that 25 students of the Jeddah have been awarded the medal.
Gold medals are also awarded to students securing the highest grade among all participating students of 16 countries. Maria Christy Joshy of Grade 10 and Amir Safar of Grade 7 from DPS Jeddah received gold medals for securing the highest score in Mathematics.
The challenging tests sought to perceive the knowledge gained by the students and was a taste of the future competition that lay ahead for every student aspiring to become a career professional. The students appreciated the dedicated efforts and creditable support of the teachers who mentored them.
