The event was organized by the King Khaled Charitable Foundation.
“King Khaled has passed away leaving pleasant memories, which nobody will forget. During his period, the Kingdom achieved big development. The establishment of the Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu also took place during his time.”
The governor said the exhibition was successful in documenting the history of King Khaled, the Kingdom’s fourth king. He thanked Asir Gov. Prince Faisal bin Khaled for attending the opening
ceremony.
Earlier, Prince Faisal bin Khaled, chairman of King Khaled Foundation, other princes, businessmen and top officials welcomed Prince Mohammad when he arrived at the exhibition venue.
The exhibition will be open to the public from Sunday.
The exhibition, which is divided into seven parts, showed the unique development in Makkah when King Khaled ordered to build the gate of the Holy Kaaba with pure gold.
