This was an opportunity for both girls and boys to showcase their skills in various activities.
The show by the kindergarten was a treat for the parents. It began with the recitation of Ayahs from the Holy Qur’an and was followed by a welcome song.
The tiny tots warmed the hearts of the audience with their confident performances in various languages. The colorful costumes added to the pageantry of the event.
The school’s Principal Tanveer Tariq highlighted the contribution and support of the teachers and parents in building the institution in her address, and kindergarten head Laiqa Hussain, junior section Vice Principal Nadia Aqeel Siddiqui, and senior section Headmistress Shehnaz Abdul Latif Khot reviewed the progress of their respective departments.
The junior section presented a variety of folk and traditional dances and skits. The show by the senior section boys was inaugurated by School Director Nidal Tariq Khan and was followed by the Saudi national anthem and a national dance honoring the country.
The highlight of the show was the final segment called “A Walk Down Memory Lane” by the school’s former students.
The senior section girls put on an equally good display. The show began with the traditional Arab folk dance, The Khaliji.
The international flavor of the school was then evident as students of various nationalities displayed their native dances.
An English musical, “The Pied Piper of Hamelin,” and a special tribute to mothers were also enthusiastically received. A tribute to Tariq by former students was the grand finale of a memorable celebration.
