Playing with their second string, Ittihad dominated right from the start in a match with plenty of action. At half time Ittihad led 54-29.
In the second half, Ittihad were outstanding in defense, double-teaming Hakim Wright who led Masera with 21 points. Ittihad's high man was Roselle Ellis Jr. with 27 points. With six games left Ittihad could finish undefeated in the regular season.
The second match, Al-Ahli edged out Wehdah 96-90 in a thrilling encounter.
Ahli hit back-to-back threes to take a six-point lead in the first period.
The match swung from one end to the other with lead changing at regular intervals and the score often being tied.
Ahli led at the end of the first quarter 26 to 24, second 45 to 41, and third 65 to 62 respectively
The fourth sent the game into overtime with the score tied 83-83.
Wehdah's Mohammad Barnawi scored the last two points in regulation time.
Ahli increased the tempo during extra time and edging out Wehdah 96 to 90.
For Ahli, Uthman Obaid had 17 including 5 in overtime that broke the game open, Trello Galloway 16, Khaled Falater 15, Nasser Falater 11, and Salman Al Mowalad 10.
For Wehdah Assan Dialo 25, Mohammad Barnawi 23, Rashard Suri 16, Ayoub Barnawi 13, and Saleh Tacrouni 10.
In the other league matches, Nasser beat Khalij 77 to 67. Hilal beat Jubail 86 to 46. Uhud beat Fath 85 to 53 and Ansar prevailed over Nahdah 86 to 56.
