A total of 732 students from International Indian School, Jeddah passed the Class X exams this year, with 227 receiving A grades and 49 scoring a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 10. Eleven students failed, a statement from the school said.
The school said 743 students sat the exam. Out of them, 696 took the exam conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education, based New Delhi, while 47 sat the examination conducted by the school.
"Since the introduction of CCE scheme for classes IX and X, CBSE has given the option for students to take either the board-conducted or the school-conducted examination for the second summative assessment (SA2), which is given 40 marks," the IISJ said.
