Wanted Saudi terrorist dies in Afghanistan

Wanted terrorist Abdulrahman Al-Ruwais Al-Otaibi has died in Afghanistan, according to reports received in the Kingdom.
Well-informed sources said Al-Ruwais’ family members started receiving condolences at their home in Al-Suwaidi district in west Riyadh after they received a phone call from an unknown man outside the Kingdom informing them of his death.
The terrorist, who was in his 30s, is survived by his wife and child.
Al-Ruwais was among the 47 wanted terrorists whose list was released by the Interior Ministry in January 2011. He was No. 21 in the list of those Saudis wanted abroad.
The ministry then submitted their names to Interpol. It also called on the suspects to surrender themselves to the nearest Saudi mission abroad and be reunited with their families and possibly gain a more lenient sentence in court. A number of terror suspects surrendered following the ministry’s announcement.
