Top excellence award for National Guard approved

Prince Miteb bin Abdullah, minister of state, Cabinet member, and president of the National Guard announced the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah for the launch of an award for excellence in the National Guard, including all its staff of civilian and military, and the medical sector under the name “Award of King Abdullah for excellence in the National Guard”.
Prince Miteb, on behalf of all employees of the National Guard, has expressed his deepest thanks, appreciation and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the adoption of this award that bears his name.
This prize would be a source of pride and a continued encouragement for all employees of the National Guard. It is also a sponsorship of the standing for this entity, which has arrived today at a comprehensive progress and development in various fields.
Prince Miteb held a meeting attended by senior officials in the National Guard in his office at the chairmanship of the National Guard.
The prince reviewed the objectives of the award and its fields to begin the formation of the main committees for the preparation of rules and regulations governing the award.
The purpose of this award is to encourage all employees of the National Guard to do better than excellent and create a positive environment for honest competition among all the services to their religion, their homeland and their community. It would also sophisticate the level of performance at the job and training, educational and scientific research through the support of all ambitious capacities.
The meeting was attended by Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Turki, agent of the National Guard West Sector, and Prince Mishaal bin Badr bin Saud, undersecretary of the National Guard East Sector on behalf of Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz Al-Twaijri, assistant vice president of the National Guard, and Prince Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Meqren, agent for the National Guard for regiments, Brigade Faisal bin Libdeh, commander of the First Private Security at the National Guard, and Brigade Sulaiman bin Zair, head of the military system at the National Guard and a number of senior officials in the National Guard.
