One Palestinian was killed and several others injured on Thursday after Israeli warplanes bombed a house south of Gaza City.
According to a WAFA correspondent, Israeli warplanes struck a house near the Al-Maghrabi Junction on Jamal Abdel Nasser Street in the southern part of the city.
The attack resulted in the death of one resident and left several others wounded, according to local sources.
Medical sources in the Gaza Strip said that the death toll from the Israeli offensive had risen to 72,988, with 173,205 people injured since the start of the war on Oct. 7, 2023.
They added that the total number of Palestinians killed since the ceasefire declared on Oct. 11 of last year has reached 978, while the number of injuries has risen to 3,097.
In addition, 782 bodies have been recovered from various locations.
On Wednesday, a Palestinian man succumbed to his wounds three days after being injured in an Israeli airstrike on Deir Al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.
Medical sources reported that Abdullah Abu Mustafa died from wounds he suffered when an Israeli attack struck a vehicle on Salah Al-Din Road near Al-Mazra’a School in Deir Al-Balah.
In a separate incident earlier on Wednesday, a Palestinian was wounded by Israeli gunfire west of Nuseirat Refugee Camp in central Gaza.
