DUBAI: Singer, dancer and actress Nora Fatehi is bringing Arab representation to the world’s biggest sporting stage once again, this time with a new song featured on the official FIFA World Cup 2026 album. The music video for the song was released on Monday.
The track, titled “Siir Siir,” was released this week as part of FIFA’s star-studded musical project for the tournament, which will be hosted across the US, Canada and Mexico.
Fatehi collaborated on the song with music producer Sanjoy and French artist Vegedream, whose 2018 football anthem “Ramenez la Coupe a la Maison” became a sensation among fans.
In the newly released music video, Fatehi is seen dancing against a desert backdrop in a red-and-white outfit, with flags and national jerseys placed across the set.
The high-energy video was directed by Abderrafia El-Abdioui.
For Fatehi, whose family roots trace back to Morocco, the release marks another milestone in a career that has increasingly bridged Arab, African and international entertainment. While she was born and raised in Canada, the performer has often spoken about her Moroccan heritage.
The World Cup connection is not new for Fatehi. In 2022, she featured on FIFA’s official Qatar World Cup soundtrack “Light the Sky” alongside Arab artists Balqees, Rahma Riad and Manal.
Her latest contribution arrives as FIFA continues to build a diverse soundtrack featuring artists from around the world. The official album includes collaborations from performers spanning Latin pop, Afrobeats, K-pop and Arabic music. Among them is Palestinian Chilean singer Elyanna, who appears on “Illuminate” with Canadian singer-songwriter Jessie Reyez. The song blends Arabic melodies, Latin influences and contemporary pop, making Elyanna one of the few Arab artists featured on the tournament soundtrack.
“Rooting for all the MENA region. Making us proud! See you at the opening ceremony,” Elyanna posted on social media in May. She is scheduled to perform at the FIFA World Cup 2026 opening ceremony in Toronto, Canada, on June 12.
