MADINAH: The Ministry of Sport’s scout teams have begun the second phase of their Hajj program in Madinah, which will continue until June 11.
During this phase, they will carry out scouting duties to assist pilgrims and visitors and support guidance and organization at high-traffic locations, contributing to a smooth and safe experience.
The first phase, implemented in cooperation with the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the holy sites, supported crowd management, guidance, and assistance to pilgrims.
It involved 28 scout teams comprising 801 members, including monitors, coordinators, and supervisors, assigned to field and supervisory tasks.
The teams served 614 camps in Mina and 133 in Arafat, helping organize pilgrim movement and dispatch operations and improving service quality.
The program reflects the Ministry of Sport’s commitment to volunteer and scouting work and its contribution to national and humanitarian initiatives.
