DUBAI: French Saudi model Amira Al-Zuhair shared a glimpse into her Cannes Film Festival experience this weekend after she attended one of the event’s most high-profile evenings, the amfAR Gala Cannes 2026.

Held annually during the Cannes Film Festival 2026, the amfAR Gala took place at the legendary Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on the French Riviera. The star-studded fundraiser is organised by the Foundation for AIDS Research and has become one of Cannes’ most glamorous traditions, regularly attracting leading names from fashion, film and music while raising funds for HIV and AIDS research programs.

Al-Zuhair appeared on the gala runway in a look inspired by iconic Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, embracing bold floral styling and statement beauty details as part of the evening’s theatrical fashion presentation.

Later in the night, the model attended the gala dinner wearing a flowing seafoam green gown by Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika, paired with jewellery by Italian luxury house Bvlgari.

Al-Zuhair has increasingly become a familiar face on the international fashion circuit, appearing at runway shows and luxury events across Paris, Milan and the Middle East.
