MADINAH: Quba Mosque in Madinah is witnessing a massive influx of visitors. The first mosque built in Islamic history, the site holds profound religious and historic significance and is currently being supported by intensive guidance and organizational efforts to enable visitors to perform their prayers with ease and safety.
The authorities are working round the clock to provide comprehensive services inside and outside the mosque to create an optimal worshipping environment.
To ensure a smooth flow of movement, the mosque’s surrounding courtyards have been equipped with shading canopies and a sophisticated network of misting fans that effectively cool the air and shield visitors from direct sunlight.
These enhancements are a core component of the project for the expansion of Quba Mosque and the development of its surrounding areas.
The plan aims to significantly increase the mosque’s overall capacity and modernize its facilities, seamlessly accommodating the growing number of global visitors.
