DUBAI: Bella Hadid is celebrating the second anniversary of her cosmetics brand, Orebella.
She took to Instagram to mark the occasion, saying “Happy 2nd birthday to my baby (sic).”
The 29-year-old US-Dutch-Palestinian supermodel thanked fans of the brand in the post.
“What started as a dream in my heart has become something so much bigger than I could have imagined, because of you. I mean that completely and truly from the bottom of my heart. You are the reason I am here.
“Nothing I put out is anything I wouldn’t use myself, and I would never bring anything to you that doesn’t feel 100% perfect in my eyes. We work for you, and I want you all to feel that every time you wear Orebella, or you see our work online,” she said.
Hadid recently launched a clutch of new scents under the brand, including Jasmine Blues, which she said is a tribute to her Arab roots.
“I have this little book about the native flowers of Palestine, and jasmine is such an important flower for the entire region. It felt like kimset. Specifically in Palestine, the jasmine flower is a symbol of purity, beauty, and cultural identity,” she told Vogue US.
The scent is described on the brand’s website as “a luminous, shimmering white floral bloom of creamy jasmine and rose petals blended with the aquatic softness of blue lotus and fresh eucalyptus.”
Orebella, which launched in 2024 with a sell-out line of clean fragrance mists, is rooted in Hadid’s love of scent layering, spirituality and beauty rituals.
She wrote on her website at the time: “For me, fragrance has always been at the center of my life — helping me feel in charge of who I am and my surroundings. From my home to nostalgic memories, to my own energy and connection with others, scent has been an outlet for me. It made me feel safe in my own world.”
The alcohol-free scents of Orebella were Hadid’s answer to traditional perfumes.
