NEW YORK: Saudi Ambassador to the UN Abdulaziz Alwasil recently met with Ted Chaiban, deputy executive director for humanitarian action and supply operations at UNICEF.
The two discussed strengthening humanitarian response, enhancing supply-chain resilience, and advancing coordinated efforts to support children in vulnerable and crisis-affected settings.
“We appreciate UNICEF’s continued leadership and look forward to deepening collaboration on shared priorities,” Alwasil said in a post on X.
Meanwhile, Saudi Ambassador to the UK Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan recently met with Fawaz Al-Suhaili, president of the Transport General Authority. They reviewed prospects for cooperation and joint efforts to enhance the Kingdom’s presence in international forums, the Saudi embassy said in a post on X.
