DUBAI: US singer-songwriter and actress Lainey Wilson created a buzz at the Billboard Women in Music event in Los Angeles, dressed in her best Western-inspired look, complete with her trusty cowboy hat, from Lebanese designer Saiid Kobeisy.
The 33-year-old turned heads in an all-black ensemble including pants, a jacket studded with floral appliques, and her hat. She completed the look with sparkling chandelier earrings, styling her long blonde hair in a low ponytail with soft, face-framing pieces.
Meanwhile, last year, Tiffany Trump made headlines when she showed off a custom-made gown by Kobeisy at the state banquet held during US President Donald Trump’s visit to the UK.
Trump’s daughter wore a blue quartz couture gown, with a beaded clutch also by Kobeisy. Styled by Toni Breisse, the look was complemented with jewelry by Samer Halimeh.
“For this occasion, I wanted to design a piece that unites heritage with modernity, a vision where power meets elegance, crafted with the spirit of royalty at its core. It is about commanding presence, leaving an impression as timeless as the moment itself,” said Kobeisy at the time.
In December 2025, she again wore one of his gowns to the Kennedy Center Honors, an annual event held at the White House that recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to American culture through the performing arts.
For the occasion, Tiffany opted for a floor-length emerald-green velvet gown with a sweetheart neckline and long fitted sleeves, cinched at the waist with a slim belt and finished with a thigh-high front slit.
Founded in Beirut in 2000, Saiid Kobeisy has grown into a global luxury brand celebrated for its couture, bridal and ready-to-wear creations.
Kobeisy told aeworld in an earlier interview about his beginnings: “My father had a boutique for evening gowns. As a teenager, whenever I had a free moment, I would intervene with the customers to give them the advice that I thought was appropriate. It was my passion and I had an eye for it, as they say. I did not want to do anything else in life. I studied fashion design and when I felt ready, I started my own couture house.”
