Located in Alkhobar, Ten Degrees Cafe offers a calm, spacious setting that leans more toward a quiet retreat than a typical busy cafe.
The interior is warm and minimal, with wide seating areas that make it ideal for long stays, whether for work or casual catch-ups. It is the kind of place that feels easy to settle into.
The standout of the visit was the iced coffee. Priced at under SR10 ($2.70), it easily becomes one of the most affordable options in the city. More importantly, it delivers on taste. Clean, balanced and surprisingly enjoyable, it outperformed expectations and, in my case, was even more satisfying than a typical iced V60. For that price point, it is difficult to find something this consistent.
Desserts, however, did not reach the same level. I tried both the San Sebastian and the cheesecake. While presentation was appealing, the flavors leaned heavily toward sweetness.
Both items felt overly sugary, to the point where it overshadowed any depth or balance. There is clear room for refinement here, especially considering the cafe’s otherwise thoughtful approach.
Service sits in the middle. Orders arrive within a reasonable timeframe, but not particularly fast. That said, the staff were friendly and welcoming, which adds a positive layer to the overall experience and softens the slower pace.
Parking can be a challenge. The location, while accessible, does not offer the easiest parking situation, which may affect convenience during peak hours.
Overall, Ten Degrees Cafe delivers where it matters most for a casual visit; atmosphere and value. The space is comfortable, the pricing is fair, and the iced coffee alone is worth returning for.
With some adjustments to the dessert menu, it could easily become a more well-rounded destination.
