RIYADH: King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre Group CEO Dr. Majid Alfayyadh recently inaugurated the facility’s new library on campus, expanding annual access to trusted medical and scientific resources for nearly 15,000 clinicians and researchers.
The library is designed as a knowledge platform for clinical, academic, and research teams, providing access to 15 major medical and scientific databases.
It also offers hundreds of peer-reviewed journals that support evidence-based clinical practice across the hospital, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Wednesday.
The library offers automated digital services through a dedicated website and mobile application, enabling users to access medical resources, manage bookings and requests, and use self-service tools.
Its digital features are supported by artificial intelligence, improving search, content discovery, and access to relevant scientific literature.
The library strengthens the hospital’s academic and clinical environment by enabling medical and research teams to review the latest scientific evidence, follow developments in practice, and apply knowledge in education, training, and clinical discussions.
