SARAJEVO: Saudi Arabia’s pavilion at the Sarajevo International Book Fair is drawing attention as a platform for cultural exchange, with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance participating through the King Fahd Cultural Center.

The fair, held from April 22 to 27 at the Skenderija Center under the theme “Book Path,” brings together around 200 exhibitors from Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad across an exhibition space exceeding 10,000 square meters.

The Saudi pavilion, inaugurated in the presence of Ambassador Anas Al-Wusaidi, highlights the Kingdom’s cultural and developmental narrative. Visitors are introduced to the country’s transformation through multimedia presentations, including a documentary on national progress and Saudi Vision 2030, alongside films showcasing major cities and tourist destinations.

A range of interactive features further enriches the pavilion, including educational and training programs, a Saudi culture corner, and hands-on workshops such as traditional coffee preparation and Arabic calligraphy.

A dedicated children’s area adds to the family-friendly appeal. The ministry said its participation underscores Saudi Arabia’s role in promoting moderation and tolerance, while fostering dialogue and cultural exchange with international audiences.
