RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council, in Jeddah on Monday, the Saudi Press Agency reported.
During the meeting, the two leaders reviewed the latest developments in Sudan and their repercussions, and efforts being made in this regard.
They also emphasized their commitment to ensuring Sudan’s security and stability and preserving its sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity, SPA said.
Al-Burhan was received at King Abdulaziz International Airport earlier on Monday by Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, deputy governor of Makkah Region; Saleh bin Ali Al-Turki, mayor of Jeddah; Ali bin Hassan Jaafar, Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Sudan; Dafallah Al-Hajj, Sudan’s ambassador to Saudi Arabia, and other senior officials.
