RIYADH: Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a phone call on Friday with French President Emmanuel Macron, during which the two leaders discussed the ongoing military escalation in the region and its potential impact on global security.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the call focused on the repercussions of the rising tensions on regional and international stability, with both sides expressing concern over the developments.

Prince Mohammed and the French president stressed the importance of halting all actions that could further threaten security and stability, underscoring the need for restraint amid the worsening situation, SPA added.

They additionally reviewed broader efforts aimed at preventing further escalation and maintaining stability in the region.
