Kingdom expands aid efforts across 4 countries

RIYADH: Saudi aid agency KSrelief continues to make an impact by providing critical assistance to some of the world’s most vulnerable communities.

In the Syrian Arab Republic, the organization distributed 2,340 cartons of dates in Rif Dimashq governorate, benefiting vulnerable families.

In Afghanistan, KSrelief provided 470 food baskets in Burka district, Baghlan Province, aiding returning Afghan families.

The agency also distributed 650 food baskets in Omdurman, Khartoum state, Sudan, supporting hundreds of people.

In Yemen, the KSrelief-supported prosthetics and rehabilitation center in Taiz governorate offered medical services to 605 amputees.

Over the course of a month, the agency delivered 2,199 services, including measuring, manufacturing, and fitting prosthetics, delivery and maintenance, rehabilitation, and physiotherapy.

KSrelief also distributed 450 cartons of dates to displaced persons in Marib governorate, benefiting 3,150 people.

Since its establishment in 2015, KSrelief has implemented 3,879 projects in 109 countries at a total cost exceeding $8.2 billion.

Its efforts cover key sectors, including food security, health, education, water and sanitation, shelter, and early recovery.
